B is for...
Bees, butterflies, and bizarre botany.
This is a green bee, sometimes known as a "Sweat Bee". They aren't really aggressive, unless of course you reach out and try to grab one.
I wanted to mention how interesting the life cycle of the monarch butterfly is. The length they travel each year for migration is amazing; each winter flying 2500 miles to either Southern California or the Transvolcanic Range of Mexico.
Not only is their destination location specific, they also only hibernate in a specific type tree. In California it's the Eucalyptus trees, and in Mexico the Oyamel Fir tree.
